I like the muted colours, and the spacial balance of the orange v blue. The face and head movement are good but I think something’s missing to finish the piece. I wonder if with a little more highlight on the face, and maybe some whispy movement marks on top of head, you’d add points for the eye to follow + juzt

Yes I agree I also thought something was missing but couldn’t resolve it. Once the subject has moved away it can be dangerous to do too much more. I suppose that means it was Joey that was missing! 😉

…(sorry!)….plus juxtapose the flat planes with the movement and depth of the head?
No, all’s not lost! Suggest you revisit at a later date. One or two extra marks…
Reminds me a little of Francis Bacon works.
